Recently, our Poughkeepsie team members rolled up their sleeves at Sparrow’s Nest, a local nonprofit that prepares and delivers homemade meals to families facing a cancer diagnosis across Dutchess, Putnam, Ulster, and Orange Counties, NY.

Together, our volunteers supported two meal‑prep sessions to help create 400 Brussels sprouts and apple salads for families receiving meals this week. Session one handled Brussels sprouts prep and assembled delivery boxes. Session two cored and cut apples, assisted with food prep, cleanup and box breakdown. Every salad went out with a special Petro label, adding a personal touch from our team to the local Poughkeepsie families that we serve.

This kind of community support reflects what Petro stands for – showing up, pitching in and making a meaningful difference where we live and work. Thank you to everyone who volunteered.
