Total customer satisfaction is our goal but that extends beyond the products and services that we offer. We also are actively involved in satisfying your local community's needs, too. From sponsoring local events and sports teams to fund-raising for charitable organizations and neighborhood initiatives, you can always count on Petro to join you in being involved and giving back to our community. Since we live and work where you do, it's just as important to us as it is to you.
On October 11, members of the Petro Poughkeepsie team came together to support the Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation, participating in a community walk through Eastdale Village in Poughkeepsie, NY and presenting the organization with a $1,000 donation.
The event was attended by many from the Petro team, including Blaise, Nicole, Joe, Diane, Eileen, Mary, Courtney, Faith, Jason, Rob, Jill and their family members along with other Miles of Hope team members. Together, they walked to raise awareness and show support for individuals and families affected by breast cancer throughout the Hudson Valley.
Founded in 2004, the Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation provides critical support to local residents facing breast cancer. The organization offers financial assistance for medical and emergency expenses, funds complementary therapies that promote physical and emotional well-being, awards college scholarships, and connects newly diagnosed patients with survivors who can offer guidance and encouragement. Through community fundraising efforts and partnerships, Miles of Hope has contributed more than $4 million to help ease financial burdens and improve quality of life for those navigating treatment and recovery.
Supporting causes like Miles of Hope reflects our commitment to being an active part of the communities we serve and living our core values every day. Whether we're providing home comfort services or helping neighbors facing difficult challenges, caring for people remains at the heart of what we do.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the walk and helped make a difference.
