On December 19, 2025, Petro Home Services team members from Rhode Island participated in Westbay Community Action’s Adopt a Family program. This annual initiative provides support to families in need during the holiday season, and our team was honored to contribute.

Together, our volunteers donated items to help brighten the holidays for a family of seven. Through their generosity, the family received cozy outfits, pajamas, coats, hats, gloves, and fuzzy socks, nearly 20 arts and crafts sets to fuel their love of painting and creativity, two bedding sets for the girls, makeup and self‑care gifts including kits, a nail salon set, perfume and lotion, and an Amazon gift card to round out the holiday surprise.

Westbay Community Action is a charitable organization serving Kent County, offering resources such as food, utilities, health, safety, and education assistance to individuals, families, and seniors. The employees at Westbay expressed heartfelt gratitude for the wonderful donations, noting the difference they make for families during this time of year.

This kind of community support reflects what Petro stands for – showing up, pitching in, and making a meaningful difference where we live and work. A special thank you goes out to our Rhode Island team for their generous contributions to make the holiday season brighter for one family.
