From November 11th to December 6th, Petro Home Services team members in Poughkeepsie held their annual Teddy Bear Drive for the Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse (CPCA), marking the 4th consecutive year of supporting this important organization. This year, in addition to stuffed animals, donations also helped replenish the CPCA pantry with snacks and drinks for children of all ages.
Together, our team collected and donated 243 stuffed animals — from classic teddy bears to playful characters — ensuring that every child who visits the CPCA has a cuddly companion to choose from. The pantry restock provided much‑needed comfort items for kids during their visits.

Included in the photos are our Petro Poughkeepsie staff, along with Peace, the CPCA facility dog who greets every child at the door and offers extra comfort in their time of need.
Thanks to the dedication of Poughkeepsie’s office and field staff, and the support of the John Ray team, this year’s drive marked the largest donation yet to the CPCA. The organization serves approximately 15,000 children annually, providing prevention services, education, and support to families in need.

This initiative reflects what Petro stands for — showing up, pitching in, and making a meaningful difference where we live and work. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this caring effort.
