On December 13th, associates of the Poughkeepsie District had the privilege of delivering gifts to a family in need within the local community. For the second year in a row, Poughkeepsie associates partnered with United Way of Dutchess-Orange Region to spread holiday cheer by adopting a local family.

Donations of clothing, toys and money were gifted to the adopted family, providing them with some much needed essentials and fun gifts! United Way extended a very warm welcome to our associates and was extremely grateful for all of Petro’s efforts to brighten the spirits of a local family in need during this holiday season.

United Way of America, based in Alexandria, Virginia, is a nonprofit organization that works with almost 1,200 local United Way offices throughout the country in a coalition of charitable organizations to pool efforts in fundraising and support.
