Golfing for a greater good in Rhode Island.

On August 21, 2026, Petro proudly sponsored the 4th Annual Habitat “FORE” Humanity West Bay and Northern RI, Inc. Golf Tournament at Crystal Lake Golf Course in Mapleville, RI. Representing our local team were Michael Perretta, Matt Newell, Dave Santos and Steve Sweeney, who spent the day connecting with golfers, sharing our mission and cheering on participants from our sponsored longest drive men’s hole – complete with a Petro table and giveaways.

This tournament is one of Habitat for Humanity’s most important annual fundraisers in the region, with 100% of proceeds directly supporting the Home Build Initiative Program. Thanks to the dedication of Habitat for Humanity’s volunteer build crews, the organization consistently constructs one to two homes each year, providing safe, affordable housing for families in need. Last year’s tournament helped fund the completion of an ADA‑compliant duplex for two deserving veterans – a powerful example of how community generosity transforms lives.

Our partnership with Habitat for Humanity reflects Petro’s commitment to giving back to the communities we serve and living our core values of caring, service and community support. We’re honored to stand alongside Habitat for Humanity in their mission and proud to contribute to programs that create lasting, meaningful impact for local families.
