The Petro team in Boston, MA team continued its long-standing tradition of giving back by teaming up once again with Habitat for Humanity on Thursday, August 14, 2025. Nine volunteers gathered in Boston to work on building one new home and refurbishing another for a meaningful day of teamwork and community spirit.

The volunteers – Chris O’Keefe (Service Manager), Justin Peters (Field Service Supervisor), Alison Scali (Regional Sales Manager), Tongwa “Tony” Atem (On Road Delivery Supervisor), along with Service Technicians Joe and James Perkins, Tal Gallagher, Joe Esposito, and Pete Madden – tackled a variety of projects. Their tasks ranged from building wood and ladder racks, working on siding, laying sub-flooring, to hanging ceiling boards.

The team enjoyed working alongside familiar Habitat for Humanity team members like Mike and Sam, reinforcing bonds formed through years of partnership. Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping families build and improve safe, affordable housing. By mobilizing volunteers and community support, Habitat for Humanity empowers homeownership and helps revitalize neighborhoods, truly making a difference one home at a time. Our ongoing partnership with Habitat for Humanity exemplifies Petro’s commitment to community involvement, teamwork and lending a helping hand where it counts most.
