Petro Home Services has been awarded an American Red Cross Corporate Leadership Award. It is an honor for the company to receive this award from such a distinguished organization and we thank the American Red Cross for this recognition.

This award means so much, as it directly reflects the appreciation of all the hard work that everyone on the Petro Home Services team does for the American Red Cross every day. Throughout the company footprint, Petro team members volunteer, organize blood drives, donate blood, raise funds, collect items and help distribute them to those in need.

It is also touching to receive this award as Petro Home Services originally got involved with the American Red Cross thanks to the compassion of Steve Goldman, the late Chief Executive Officer of the company, who passed away late last year. Steve was a great champion for the organization and had a big heart for the community, always encouraging our team to participate and give back to the communities that we serve. The American Red Cross helps Petro do that, as it encourages volunteering, organizes action and enables people to get involved to make a difference.

As Ed Gomez, VP of operations for Petro Home Services says in the video: “It’s important to give back to the community because we are the community, we live here, we play here, we do life here.”

We dedicate this award to Steve, to everyone on the Petro team and the heroes at the American Red Cross for all that they do, every day to positively impact lives and communities throughout the country.
