Petro Home Services at Table of Hope Community Soup Kitchen

February 22, 2018: Morristown, NJ - The goal of Table of Hope is to provide a safe, friendly, enjoyable, and uplifting environment to those in need of a warm meal, nutritious groceries, and seasonal clothing. Guests at Table of Hope are served dinner at their seats, encouraged to engage in conversation with volunteers, watch some TV and even take home some clothes, outerwear and groceries.

Table of Hope relies on volunteers who give of their time and talents—the hope behind their mission, "Where Hope Starts, and the Community Gathers to Share".

Table of Hope is dependent on the energy, willingness and generosity of volunteers and corporate partners to help, and on the evening of February 22nd Petro Home Services volunteers were kind enough to do that at the Community Soup Kitchen! Volunteers rolled up their sleeves and helped serve warm meals, wash dishes, cleaned out the food pantry – anything that was needed - all with a smile and kind words.

Petro Homes Services is proud to honor our mission of "Serving our community". Thank you to all of our team members and their families who dedicated the evening to helping our fellow New Jerseyans in need - not only have you bestowed good on the lives you touch, but your own life has been improved by the good you are doing to make a difference in the community.

Thanks to all of our volunteers!

During the dinner hours, guests were also able to shop (for free) from a selection of "in season" clothing – outerwear to apparel, proudly donated by Petro Homes Services. During the holiday, Petro partnered with One Warm Coats for a Winter Coat Drive and received over 300 adult and children coats! All were donated to Table of Hope, and less than a month after they arrived there were only approximately 40 coats remaining. Donations for coats/clothing are accepted all year round, donation information can be found below.

Table of Hope is run under the auspices of Spring Street Community Development Corporation, an organization seeking to improve the quality of life for Morris County, NJ families by addressing economic, educational and social needs.
