Petro helps rescue a Long Island family's home on NBC's George To The Rescue.

Petro partners with Wales Darby to rescue the Hurricane Sandy damaged home of a deserving Long Island family on NBC's George To The Rescue.

Petro was honored to be invited by Wales Darby - a leading NY and NJ home energy systems provider - to help a Long Island family rebuild after the devastating effects of Hurricane Sandy.

NBC Channel 4's George To The Rescue show features George Oliphant and his crew rescuing the homes of deserving people in the NY and NJ areas. George's 'rescue mission' in this particular show was to provide a new heating and cooling system for a Freeport, Long Island homeowner - a Vietnam veteran, retired FDNY crew member with health issues related to working at Ground Zero - whose home was badly affected by Hurricane Sandy.

Working with Wales Darby, who supplied all of the latest, energy-efficient boiler, heat pump and ductless AC equipment, the Petro team donated labor and time to install the new home heating and cooling systems. These new systems are now providing the deserving homeowner with much needed relief and will keep them healthy, warm and comfortable at home.

The Petro team were delighted to help Wales Darby improve the life of a Long Island neighbor for George To The Rescue. Through strategic relationships like this our team of willing company employees will continue to volunteer and create rewarding, community enrichment opportunities.

From installing new heating, AC and natural gas equipment systems to supplying backup power generators, Petro is the company that Long Islanders have counted on to help get back up and running after Hurricane Sandy. Count on us to always be there for you - 24/7
