  • Team Petro take the NJ Polar Bear Plunge for a great cause! On February 23, 2013 in Long Branch, NJ, the Petro team and many local neighbors and friends, braved the cold weather to raise funds for the Special Olympics. Click here to read more ›
  • Petro was delighted to participate in and sponsor the Pop Warner home show at the Lakewood BlueClaws Minor League Ball Park on August 25th, 2013 and in Byram Day at Waterloo Village on October 5th, 2013.


  • On July 15th, 2013, the Petro team brought along one of our pink trucks to the Touch A Truck event at the Stanhope Library. Our pink truck has become a widely known and well recognized vehicle throughout northern NJ, representing and promoting the great cause of Breast Cancer Awareness. The pink truck has been an active part of many local community events throughout the year, including the Tubbs Romp to Stomp Out Breast Cancer fundraiser at Mountain Creek Resort in Vernon, NJ on January 25th, 2013 and the Make A Stride Against Breast Cancer Walk in Parsippany, NJ on October 20th, 2013. Petro was proud to be part of such a great local events to raise awareness and support an even greater cause. Be on the lookout for the pink Petro trucks in your neighborhood and honk or wave to the driver to show your support

 

  • Petro Goes Pink in Northern New Jersey for a Great Cause! During National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Petro turned pink! We painted one of our NJ delivery trucks pink and our customer service teams, drivers and technicians showed their support by wearing pink ribbons or wristbands in support of this great cause.   • Helping smokers quit the habit - With the implementation of our smoke free company policy effec-tive April 1, 2012, we offered a smoking cessation program that ran for 4 weeks for those who wanted or need to quit. A number of employees successfully partici¬pated in the program with the goal of improving their health.
  • Walking Challenge - As part of our ongoing Petro team wellness efforts, we’re encouraging everyone to take the Walking Challenge. With the warmer weather here, it’s the perfect time to get out there and start walking — no matter what the distance — to improve their overall well being.
  • New Jersey food bank - Your local Petro Team is launch-ing an alliance partnership with the Community Food Bank of New Jersey. The goal is to be more involved, both as employees and customers, to do everything we can to help our NJ neighbors in need feed their families.
